Outreach The Perth Islamic Society outreach programme started in the mid-90s with the aim of building understanding between Islam and other faith and non-faith groups. The outreach programme organises groups’ visits to the Mosque etc. Perth Islamic Society is also offering free copies of the Quran (in English). At Dundee Central Mosque we welcome visitors from all over the world. We work closely with local schools and organisations and also provide guided tours for schools and local organisations. Many schools, organisations and individuals have already visited the Masjid and have found such visits very educational and helpful. Every year, the mosque is also part of The Scottish Civic Trust Doors Open Days initiative. The Mosque constantly strives to build, maintain and strengthen its relationship with the whole community by having an open door to any individual, school or organisation that wishes to visit it. Guidelines Below is a list of guidelines we advise visitors to the mosque to adhere to:  All visitors are requested to remove footwear and place them in the shoe stands provided at the entrance as the whole mosque is carpeted and clean.  All visitors are requested to dress modestly. It will be greatly appreciated if females could cover their hair.  Please respect the Mosque as a place of worship and quiet contemplation.
